Having done Tai chi for 28 year, and with some skill for 15 years; it was a Daunting idea… actually teach Tai Chi …rather than just be a qualified instructor who, with a full time job that is so full on that he never planned to actually “teach”.

Could I find a fragment of time to run a class?  Teaching a thing allows such deep exploration of the subject that it would be a foolish gift to decline. You learn the real depth of something by doing it again and again until it becomes part of you and you no longer have to think about it, as Bruce Lee said:

The knowledge and skills you have achieved are meant to be forgotten so you can float comfortably in emptiness, without obstruction.”
